Have Faith! by Liam
Arsene Wenger is one of the best managers in the English Premier League ! In my opinion if he wasn’t there and someone else had the task off covering up and trying to fix the boards screw-ups we wouldn’t be a top four side and wouldn’t have been for the last few years!
Arsenal need quality players fact but we still have quality and enough of them to win something. We still have Jack Wilshere to return and I think he will make a big difference to the side along with Carzola. Read more...

No reason for gunners to panic by Redneck Gooner
Hello my fellow Gooners!
Two weeks into the campaign now and even after two scoreless draws I don’t feel things are quite as ominous as many have suggested. As a matter of fact, I feel a certain optimism that I haven’t felt watching our boys in some time now. Specifically, I didn’t experience something watching the Gunners on Sunday that I had become very accustom to – extreme trepidation every time an opposition gets into our half of the pitch. As a matter of fact, watching our defense perform caused me to feel a great relief. We were strong against a very BIG team in Stoke! We held our own in the air! We battled for every 50-50 ball! A hefty tip-o-the-glass is owed to our back four (and Bouldi, of course). And this is all without having brought in any new defenders I might add. Good on ya, boys!!! Read more...

Arsenal Fandom: Character Building 101 by Adam Greenup
My brother made an interesting point the other day; he said he felt sorry for people who don’t love football. As far as he was concerned a life without the passion for the beautiful game would be unbearable but as an Arsenal fan who has watched the last few seasons unfold, I couldn’t help but think that maybe it’s us who deserves the pity. Are Arsenal’s players good enough? by Andrei
Season after season there have been talks about how good a manager is Arsene Wenger. This time, the question is whether Arsenal’s transfer policy is good enough. The Gunners always try to search for young, talented players, and by the time they are mature enough to start winning as a team, one or two leave for other clubs, tired of not winning titles.
For this summer, Arsenal have already signed the German international Lukas Podolski, not exactly a typical Arsenal transfer, as the striker is already 26 years old. Read more...

Arsenal had a very boring 0-0 draw with Chelsea yesterday, and considering that both teams were in desperate need of the points it all came as a bit of a surprise, but one highlight of the game (if you can call it that!) was Theo Walcott going down injured with a slight hamstring problem after a short stretch too far.
For some reason Wenger didn’t replace the England winger, and sure enough, five minutes later Walcott went down again and was replaced immediately. It was enough for the Londoner to be written off for the rest of the season, but Wenger gave one of his rare Euro 2012 betting tips by saying that a rested Walcott will make England one of the favourites to win the tournament. Arsenal is now left with all of 10 matches to go this season, but the manager isn’t taking his attention away from the field at the moment. There’s no such thing as an easy run-in and the race for third spot is going to go the distance. We haven’t finished below the Spuds in God knows how long, and we wouldn’t want that to suddenly change now, would we? Read more...

As those of you who have read my posts before know, I am a huge fan of Theo. I think this player have abilities that he has just not been able to meld together as a cohesive playing force. His abilities are his speed, scoring, playmaking and terror of the opposition defense. Yet, too often in his Arsenal career, he has not put them together to become a superstar. This inability to combine his abilities is what is keeping him on the fans firing line. I did not sympathize with him when he was being booed against Tottenham. He seemed to be thinking about the probable fight he had with his girlfriend. It seems that the boo’s woke him up, or not. Anyhow, he really impressed me in the last part of the first half and the second half. His involvement was complete. His movement kept Tottenham defense moving to cover him thus leaving space for the others to fire the ball at the goal. This is what led to Van Persie’s and Rosicky’s goal. It seems that the Tottenham defense was looking out for Theo since he was hovering in the box. This was very, very nice to watch. His two goals were Henriesque. Very well taken indeed. Read more...

I have analysed Walcott on his ‘tale of two halves’ performance against Tottenham and I have compared him to the better wingers in the Premier league. Now let’s look at how he’s actually played this season.
Walcott always comes across as a player that frustrates. He always tends to get the easy things wrong yet can do the fantastic right. Just looking back at the Tottenham game, the one moment where he had a bad touch but still managed a cheeky chip to score his goal summarised very nicely the basis of his career at Arsenal. Theo Walcott Part 2
In my previous article, I analysed Walcott’s dramatic transition from horrific to amazing. However, I’m not done. I want to objectively compare Walcott to the other Wingers on the Premier league so we have a better picture of how good Walcott actually is.
Let’s look at his raw stats for this season:
Walcott has achieved 5 goals and 7 assists this season in 25 appearances. Not bad for someone criticised as one of our worst players and baited as our next departure for the summer. Read more...

Walcott is better than he’s made out to be (Part One) by Kashmaster
Walcott had a fabulous second-half for Arsenal yesterday. Very cool headed finishing and movement for someone relatively young in his footballing career. However, he was absolutely horrendous in the first half. Movement was great as was his heart but nothing seemed to be working for him. He kept running into players without looking around for the better options. He even had to opportunity to run at the defence but hesitated and tried to pass to Van Persie who was being marked by two players. Read more...
