Taki: Van Persie Why the hell did you go to bloody Man United? 10

Van Persie – Why? by Taki

Van Persie is undoubtedly one of soccer’s hits from last season. With more goals than anyone else in the EPL we all knew he was going to be on the radar of many clubs. We all accepted that and even came to terms that he might leave at some point. Fair enough.

What I don’t understand is why Man United? Firstly with a list of gifted strikers one has to wonder why Van Persie was even considered as an option for them. Secondly, and this is by far the more frightening question is why Van Persie would want to be at Man U??

Sam: Arsenal now have a squad to win trophies (best line-up) 10

Wenger Proves Us All Wrong Again by Sam

With Giroud, Podolski, and Cazorla already signed for a total of 40 million pounds I think it is fair to say that Arsene Wenger has proved us all wrong again. He has signed 3 top class players for bargain prices. Also with Nuri Sahin likely coming into the squad, we are looking very good.

GoonerN4: Arsenal can’t win trophies without a better defence 7

Our Policy by GoonerN4

There is no reward for being a TRUE football fan. The let downs and disappointments far outweigh the good times.

Every long term fan will remember the bad times. so I am not phased by the recent success of Man city, Chelsea, or any of the others who seem more interested in our seven years without a trophy than their own miserable histories.

Because of our greatness, we do not need to spend tens of millions on players to regain our former glory.
We can score goals next season with or without RVP.

Gaz: RVP rejects new Arsenal contract. Time to say goodbye. 11

Here we are again. Last year it was Fabregas and Nasri. This year we have Robin Van Persie and probably Theo Walcott to follow. As an Arsenal fan I’m getting sick and tired of this kind of scenario happening every summer. Just when I found myself getting excited for the new season ahead, seeing two quality players like Podolski and Giroud arrive. This has to happen. Our captain wants out because the club’s vision of the way forward doesn’t match his own.

Vinay – Arsenal can NEVER replace Arsene Wenger 20

There is only one Arsene Wenger by Vinay

Its kind of befitting to pay tribute to the man who did what many thought was close to impossible, make Arsenal finish 3rd in the league last season. Its even more appropriate to thank the man for doing so because a lot many said “you dont know what you are doing…”. Its probably the right time to thank him because end of the upcoming season he may or may not be there.

Vinay: Exactly how ambitious should Arsenal be? 16

What is ambition? by Vinay

When there are no games and not much to look forward to, there is the time to introspect. Every summer after the end of the season we all are mostly critical and never satisfied. The most common refrain i hear is we are not ambitious enough. I wish someone could define what is ambition to me. Arsenal is a feeder club, Arsenal dont have enough ambitions, Players come out and say i want to win trophies etc, are all these indications that we dont have ambitions??? If these are the parameters to define ambition, i think a lot many more clubs are ambition-less.

John Collard: Time for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal to shut up the doubting fans 51

Posted on May 12, 2012 by Nitesh

Hello Arsenal fans.

First of all, I want to apologise to anyone who finds it hard to read my blogs. I’ve never been a writer or great with my grammar. A few of the lads such as Emrich or Uche seem to find my blogs useless to read or understand. Still I guess you can’t make everyone happy. That’s the whole part of me learning. Maybe a bit like Wenger or players having to take it on the chin after a poor performance. But I thank Nitesh and others for letting me be a regular writer on this great site. Most of my feed back is positive and so I guess you take the rough with the smooth. I would also like to thank Wengernumb for respecting my views. Even if he never agrees lol. Anyways moving on.

John Collard: Arsene Wenger will never be able to do enough for some Arsenal fans 22

Hello Gooners. I would like to ask your honest opinion on Arsene Wenger and do you really believe the abuse he received has been justified. And when I say abuse I mean abuse. Not a small comment on his tactics. I’m talking about the nastier approach on him being a manager and what he is now doing to our club. I want to make this very clear, I don’t want any arguments on here. I don’t want a falling out, I just want a pure and simple answer to my question.

John Collard: Silverware for Arsenal is now within touching distance 25

Hello Gooners

Today my question to you all is, has the time now come? Its been seven years, it’s all we keep hearing from the papers, the television, and last but not least, the fans. After hearing about the signing of Podolski and maybe others to follow, it seems to be a new approach from the manager or the board in signing early. Just to hear a well established name of Podolski coming to Arsenal is a nice, fresh and positive way to begin our new campaign. And it now seems there is more quality to follow.

Akhil: Why next season would be the best time for Arsenal to win trophies 10

Posted on March 30, 2012 by Nitesh

So Arsenal are now on a winning run of 7 games and suddenly the atmosphere at the Emirates have changed from jeers and boos to Arsenal..Arsenal..Arsenal ! All the misery brigade moaning about how bad our team is and how we cannot compete with top teams are now zipped for the moment, but all Arsenal critics are just waiting for us to lose few matches or get few poor results so that they can again start ‘Arsenal ain’t good enough’ campaign.
