James: My outlook of the transfer market Part 2 11

Posted on August 23, 2011 by Nitesh

Continuing on from my earlier article, here I provide you with the complete teams that I would have liked to see in the Arsenal shirt. Overall the teams could look like this:

A Team

……………………………..Szczesny………………………..

..Sagna………….Koscielny……..Vermaelen……..Gibbs…

……………………………….Song……………………………….

…………………….Mata……………Wilshere…………………

……Gervinho…………………………………Nasri/Arshavin

……………………………Van Persie………………………………

B Team

……………………………..Fabianski………………………….

Jenkinson.. ……..Djourou……….. Dann ………………Traore

…………………………..Frimpong………………………………………

……………….Larsson…………………Ramsey……………………….

Walcott………………. ……………………….Arshavin/Miyachi/Vela

……………………………..Bendtner……………………………………..

This means overall we would have sold:

Eboue, Fabregas, Clichy, Chamakh, Emmanuel Thomas

And we would have bought

Jenkinson, Dann, Larsson, Mata, Gervinho, Oxlade Chamberlain, Campbell

James: My outlook of the transfer market Part 1 1

The 2011 summer transfer window has been a particularly testing one for all those associated with Arsenal. The loss of our captain is a big one, and now that life after Cesc is upon us, the club have to dig deep to make sure it does not define our season. The transfer saga of Fabregas is an interesting one, and if taken back to the begging of the transfer window I wonder if Wenger would have done anything differently knowing what he knows now. I am going to put my feet in Wenger’s shoes, for this article and explain what I would have done regarding transfers this window.

Fabregas and Stuff……by SVGunner

No doubt many of you will have heard but today Arsenal announced OFFICIALLY that they have agreed a fee with Barca for El Capitan. Of course, it is a loss of our best player and is probably a precedent to the loss of our (arguably) second best midfielder. The strange thing is, however, that on Arsenal.com, Cesc’s news is the ‘most liked’ news article published recently. What does this say about the fans stance? Well, I have my opinion, let’s see if you agree.
