Another North London derby, another derby loss and, predictably, a load of doom and gloom predictions against Arsenal. If you have read my previous posts, then you will know that I am a largely optimistic supporter. Today, however, I do not feel I am being optimistic but simply realistic.
I was going to write an article midweek about how we should have a reality check. Just as I try not to get too pessimistic after a defeat, I try not to be overly optimistic when we win. Today, however, the doom and gloom foretellers have found their voices again. I find it unbelievable how negative some people can be (I don’t mean Arsenal fans in particular; I’m mainly pointing at the media). Read more...

We must keep the faith…..by Paul Dean
Ok, we lost to the Spuds yesterday and now I know there will be quite a few fans and media jumping on the band wagon of ‘Arsene must go’ and ‘the Spuds are better than us’. Well I say that all of it is rubbish. To the people wanting Arsene to go I say, too bad he is not going anywhere and nor should he. If they don’t like it they can piss off and support another team, because I am getting sick of hearing them. Read more...

Arsenal FC has been going through rather a lean patch at the moment, with results not quite going our way. Still, there have been a lot of positives which could be taken out of them, and I, for one, am upbeat about our future as such. But its now getting to the stage where Arsenal HAVE to start taking these positives and turn them results!
A football team is not there to instill hope for the future, its about fulfilling the dreams for the present too. It’s no use saying that so-and-so shows that we have this which will surely help us next season….we need to get that next season to come now! Read more...

Defensive failings again…But we need to stop feeling sorry for ourselves
Gutted!!! That’s what every Arsenal fan feels at the moment. We took 2 steps forward from the past week, then 5 steps backward this weekend. Blackburn away wasn’t going to be an easy match but we are the Arsenal, and we should be winning games like this.
Watching the 1st half, it was clear we were far the better side and we went into the break leading 2-1. And if Gervinho had squared the ball to RVP instead of shooting himself, we would’ve gone into the break 3-1 up but that didn’t happen. Read more...

5 Signings which have renewed our hopes in Arsenal
Sunday was one of the darkest days as an Arsenal fan. I watched Wenger’s interview after the match and when he said ‘I know that in England when you lose a game, signings are always the solution’ with such a disapproving voice, I assumed the worse. I had no expectations for the transfer deadline but then we started to hear rumours of Mertesacker flying to Arsenal, then we heard Arsenal having bought Santos and you think could it be true? Could Arsenal really have changed their transfer policy? Read more...

Depressed…….by SV Gunner
There are no words to describe how I am feeling at the moment. Some words get close. Depressed. In disbelief. Shocked. We were absolutely destroyed today by a rampant Manchester Utd. We were outclassed in almost every position and the ease with which Utd picked us apart is ridiculous. Let me give you a breakdown of the abysmal ‘performance’ that our team put up today.
