Is Walcott Right about Arsenal lacking belief? 1

Posted on January 23, 2013 by Bob

Theo Walcott has just signed a new Arsenal contract and has called on his team-mates to show more confidence between now and the rest of the season.

Arsenal supporters have often seen Theo Walcott lack confidence when it comes to putting the ball in the net, although the England winger-cum-forward has issued a rallying call this week and claims that the Gunners need to believe in themselves more.

Chelsea ran Arsenal ragged for the first half of Sunday’s match at Stamford Bridge before the visitors came right back into the game thanks to Walcott’s goal although they were unable to score an equaliser despite lots of pressure.

Vinay: Arsenal fans need to get some belief! 16

Are Arsenal actually misfiring? by Vinay

Hi All,

Two games into the season and the knives are out. Arsenal cannot score, Podolski and Giroud are crap and we can never replace that “little kid” (cant say his name again in my life), Gervinho is going the Arshavin way and our midfield has no clue but for Cazorla. I mean seriously so in 2 games we have been judged and decided upon?

Can Oxlade-Chamberlain be England’s secret weapon? 4

Posted on June 04, 2012 by admin

England’s Euro campaign is about to start, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was one of Hodgson’s main men in the pre-tournament friendlies, proving that he wasn’t called to the national team just to make up the numbers.

The Ox had ups and downs, and especially when he played as a starter against Belgium, we could see the raw talent the 18-year-old has got, but we could also see that he still lacks a few features. The Gunner had some excellent runs, and the Belgian defenders had no option at times than to wipe the floor with him because he was just too fast to stop.

John Collard: Arsenal’s defeat against QPR will only push us forward 12

Posted on April 04, 2012 by Nitesh

Hello Gooners.

After a shock defeat against QPR on Saturday I read a lot of comments on the approach of some Arsenal players and commitment of their duties. To be honest I feel due to the last couple of months we have had of great results and slugging our guts out, possible fatigue has shown its head. And also, lets not forget QPR are playing for their lives in the premiership. This is the team that beat Liverpool after being two nil down.
