Mo: Time for Arsenal fans to boycott the club?

Posted on September 02, 2012 by admin

The change will only come from US by Mohammed

Over the past 2 years there has been a change in most Arab governments. These changes were all made by one thing – revolution.

Things were bad and the people took matters into their own hands. They didn’t choose to be whatever nationality they were; Egyptian; Libyan or Syrian they were born into it. Most of us didn’t choose to be Gooners either, we were born with the certain liking to the colours of red and white the cannon attracted us. Henry was just too good to watch and not support.

The whole reason for all this is that, whilst being a debt free club with values is admirable, we as Gooners are not happy with decisions that are being made – ticket prices are up – we made quality signings but we lost quality players and, regardless of what AW says, spending isn’t a quality. Well neither is being cheap!

Why are we the only club that hasn’t really spent to invest in our squad this season!!! Is it not enough that we spent all last season stressed out about the Champions League spot?

My fellow gooners we know all the board want is money. We are the main source of that money – tickets – shirts – merchandise. I think it is not fair that the board is twisting our arm because we love the club. Now is the time we twisted there Rolex-bearing arms. Hit them were it hurts – their wallets. If we boycott them for a year maybe they won’t take us for granted as they have year after year.

The rise in ticket prices are sure to keep many fans away from the stands and if your looking for some extra money for matchday why not try your luck at www.luckynuggetcasino.com/online-slots/? With 400+ slot games you are bound to find the perfect game to help you make that little extra cash and if slots arn’t your thing you can also play a variety of table games such as keno, craps, blackjack and roulette. With all these options you have no excuse for not being down at the emirates on saturday!

Just a thought I felt I needed to share….

Stupid posting that instigate terrorism in the club. teh only way is for you to leave Arsenal alone. How much you contributed to the club. Fans are just fans, you can leave arsenal alone go for Liverpool or Man Cinty, Manure, Spurs or any club no one will follow insteady of saying such no sense as a way of motivating others to join you. No one will force you to remain with arsenal AND also no one will join your poor forces.

We know that you ar an agent of our competitors in EPL so you try to sprash your poison and you’re used to demoralise our player as you tried last season but you failed.

    Stop feeding us rubbish text.

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 15 Thumb down 14

Agree with Daniel. Why don’t you just go and support City, Chelski or do a Perse and follow ManuU instead.

We do not want Usmanov in to destabilize our club and change our manager every other year like most of those Eastern Euro bosses do.

We do not want to buy average players for no apparent reason like City did this window. And we don’t want overspending to put us in a situation like Rangers, Pompey, Malaga or Leeds.

Boycotting the club will only put us in a worse financial position, so I am not sure if what you are trying to achieve is for the good of the club or your ego.

We already have two LF strikers Theo and Chamakh (only a top, top player at the right price would be worth buying). We have ean excessive amount of MF (Carzola, Wilshere and Diaby returning) is good enough replacement for Song, we have Arteta, Rambo, Le Coq and Frimpong there too.

If Wenger could not find, afford or reach agrement for that top top player he was looking for…. so be it stop crying. If trophies and big name transfers mean that much to you then change your club.

Mo, you don’t know what you are talking about. You claim that the board should be boycotted because they are only interested in money. Lets say for the moment that your statement is true. The next question should be, what is being done with this money? Is it going into the shareholders’ pocket? The answer is no. It is being used to pay debt which was incurred by the new stadium. This stadium which by the way has doubled match day income. You appear to be someone who wants to win now at all costs. If you can not understand why the club has to temper spending and can not appreciate that the club competes on all fronts each year, I suggest you go and support Man City or Chelsea. There is a two year wait on season tickets and fans through out the world are buying Arsenal jerseys. So just GO!!!

  14. bongo says:

So we replace RVP with two well established strikers and Song with cazorla and that’s not enough for you?
Go back to playing FIFA you mug, we have a very good and full squad.
Go ahead and protest, it just means I get better seats at Arsenal games because no matter what Arsenal do I will support them. You honestly think hurting our team financially is going to help our team? Really? When our biggest problem is trying to balance the books. Go for it and watch as we have even less money than our rivals.
Arsenal ’til I die b*tch whether we play in blue square of the EPL.
If you won’t even give our team a chance to show us what they can do before you judge them then go support Spurs.
Player for player we have one of the best teams in the league and our reserve squad is trashing everyone they play. We can only have 25 players in our squad and it’s full. I’m going to bookmark this page and at the end of the season I’m going to come back and we’ll see who’s laughing then.

And you would still support your wife if you came home and your neighbour’s nob was in her mouth. That is why Arsenal are going nowhere fast. Supporters like you who are sheep. We need wolves as fans. We don’t eat grass, we thrive on MEAT!. The minute you follow blindly like cattle eating grass, you have no ambition in life, which is most probably why you work at KFC.

What a stupid article. Can I ask where you are from sir?

Why/how would you boycott the club for a year? Not buy the new shirt which has been released?

Not go to games? How many do you go to in a season?

How would that help the club

Just fed up with so called fans like you. I’ve support this club for 33 years. People like you are what gives arsenal fans a bad image.

You have to support the club through thick and thin. Success comes in cycles for most clubs. Look at Chelsea and man city. There only reason they have won stuff over the past years, is because someone has thrown about 1 billion at each of the clubs. How are you meant to compete with that?

Just stop posting crap articles like this, and actually get behind the team and be a SUPPOTER

Come on the boys today at Liverpool

you are right to say its hard not to love this club which is something i have done proudly for the last 11 years and i will continually do. i do not think the board intended to lose rvp and song and they did bring in very quality players.you might not like the fact that we did not spend on more players but the squad we have is quiet good and i have all the faith that they will come good.if you are a true gunner you will know the spirit of the club and we will keep moving forward.have some faith

  18. I agree with bongo. If you want to boycott the team then go ahead. I know what: withdraw your support altogether! Go and support some other team, just to show the Board. Then at least you could take your whinging and whining elsewhere.

Seriously, why don’t you support a football team which is run in the way you approve? Just a thought.

It is difficlt 4 us 2 support another club, and even more difficlt 2 remain an Arsenal fan. Just because there are no happy endings doesn’t mean we r cursed, neither does imply we should boycott clubs. Besides nothing gud comez eazy. A true fan will rather PROTEST than switch clubz. Are u a true FAN?

    • It’s not difficult to remain an Arsenal fan. Bloody easy, actually! They are just the best team there is, full-stop. If you don’t like it, close the door on the way out.

It’s a good win and a deserved one.
We are a big club and when we had ambition it would be expected.
As far i know, trophies are handed out in February at the earliest and May at the latest.
      what’s your point?

      • Gooner says:

Merely stating mate, that after the moaning and complaining about 1) not signing players 2) abou diaby – particularly his wages 3) Our defence, Wengers choices aren’t looking too bad at the moment.

Our 3 signings look good, OK giroud hasn’t scored yet – but the guy gets in great positions, goals will come. Abou diaby, similar to RVP, when fit is simple outstanding. After the wobble in the first 5, the big fucking german was class. To me, it now looks like we have 3 top draw CBs.

Fair play to wenger for sticking with the team he believes in. If we just trust Arsene, can stay relatively injury free – we have a great chance in the league.
