LM – Why do Arsenal give Gazidis a rise but not Walcott?

Just read an article on the JustArsenal.com site about Peter Hill-Wood – Greedy Walcott just wants more money….
After reading the whole article and the comments posted below. I started thinking, isn’t Arsene Wenger the highest paid manager in the league (125,000 a week)? And isn’t everyone critizing the board every year for selling Arsenal’s best players, pocketing the money and then not reinvesting anything back into the club?
Also someone had commented, “Just like Mr Gazidis got. 25% rise was it? 2nd highest paid nobody (exec) in football after City’s Gary Cook or whatever he’s called, there’s even a rumour he pockets more than the whole Chelsea executive team.”
So here’s my question, why are the club not willing to increase the players salary? Arsene Wenger will definitely get a higher amount when he renews his contract (assuming he does). The management and the owners also get an increase in salary, bonuses, etc.
Don’t the players then deserve to have their wages increased as well? An even better question, why does the club not have a wage structure for the board and the rest of the management?
I’m not saying pay crazy amounts of money (salary) to a player like Man City, Chelsea, etc do. But the wage structure certainly does need to be increased (if not for all, then certainly for the players who deserve it).

There is definitely some hypocrisy going on here. To constantly go on about financial prudence and the need to constantly make a profit on transfers and then pay yourselves more than any other club is more than a tad hypocritical.

The £75kpw on offer is already an increase over what he is currently earning. So the point on his matter is whether or not he is currently worth $100kpw to Arsenal or to any other prudently managed club for that matter.
You may be one of those who think Wenger is doing a terrible job but on account of his longevity; how, in his tenure he has carried Arsenal from a mid-table club to a consistently to EPL and UEFA club; how he has raised the international profile of Arsenal and remained loyal to the club despite interesting offers almost yearly, Wenger deserves every penny he is paid.
As to Gaz, I confess to zero opinion on him and whether he merits the payrise.

This is the million Pound/Dollar question employees the world over ask on a daily basis.
We are told to tighten our belts while the executives pay themselves telephone numbers.
They all claim it’s their skill managing the books which makes the difference.I believe it’s the players on the pitch that are the real asset.
This is why i will never blame a player for leaving for more money.
LM, this is why we should not see 4th place as a reason to celebrate every season.
The directors are rewarding themselves for Champs League qualification which brings in millions.
Mean while we are still waiting for silverwear and the price of a ticket goes through the roof.

Arsenals wage structure for players is a completely retarded idea. Wage structure makes it impossible to sell that piece of shit, the useless imbecile Squidlacci, as much as it makes it impossible to keep a worthy player like Wallcot. Arsenal is the biggest enemy of Arsenal in the last couple of years. And I’m trying my best to keep on cheering for the club. And every year it is more harder to do so, not because of there is no silverware, but because the bloody board is not giving up on it’s retarded ways year after year. Peter, Ivan and the rest of you greedy pieces of shit, get the fuck out of Arsenal fc! You are going to destroy what Arsene had built in the last seventeen years.
