Arsene Wenger is one of the best managers in the English Premier League ! In my opinion if he wasn’t there and someone else had the task off covering up and trying to fix the boards screw-ups we wouldn’t be a top four side and wouldn’t have been for the last few years!
Arsenal need quality players fact but we still have quality and enough of them to win something. We still have Jack Wilshere to return and I think he will make a big difference to the side along with Carzola.
Chamakh is a goal scorer and given a chance he will do so, but with RVP in the side he never was allowed to get a regular run in the first-team! Bendtner was given more opportunities than Chamakh hahah! I believe he could suprise a llot of people this year!
Our defensive display at Stoke last week was great and I think once the attack starts to click we could be contenders for the title.
And, finally, Walcott could be a goal scorer playing through the middle! He has pace to get clear of the defenders and the quality in midfield would find him if he makes the right runs. All he needs in confidence when it comes to the end product – which will come in time!

Absolutely right Liam. There are far too many so-called supporters who reckon they could do a better job than Arsene, but they are still on the terraces and he is in the chair. Despite general opinion he still delivers a top four spot every year. I am very optimistic that we will win at least one trophy this season.
The only mistake Arsene made was to win trophies in his early years at the club. In those days he only had one moneybags team to compete, but then a certain Russian came to Chelski and bought them some trophies and pushed us back a rung. Now we have Citeh buying cups. It is very difficult to compete with clubs who have bottomless pits of money.

Stop spitting rubbish.”we still have jack wilshere” where the hell is that wilshere? No disrespect 2 wilshere.i luv him as player but he’s out until october.but what’s d guarantee he’ll b back by then?even if he’s back will he b playing at d same level as he did then? Nice piece Liam. I couldnt agree more. Needless crying over spilt milk. Deadline date has come & gone, no new additions. We have every right to feel betrayed… taken for a ride & all that.If the signings of Giroud, Podolski & Cazorla were all accomplished on deadline date, maybe we would all have felt better.
This is a clarion call to all true GUNNERS to put yesterday’s disappointment behind us & get behind our team. I do believe we have a team that can strongly challenge for titles this season.
Buying all the players available in the transfer market is not a garrantee of success… Chelski’s humiliation yesterday by Atletic is a pointer to that fact.
Lets keep the faith. Come what may, I remain a GUNNER till eternity!

Sorry i dont agree. Arsenal fans dont have faith? Are you serious! What faith are they supposed to have when their hopes are broken every year. For people to have faith they need to see willingness and change from arsene and the board. Every year its the same lies wrapped in lies wrapped in lies etc… The truth is arsenal does not need to spend 100 mill to fix the team, theres lots of quality players out there under 10-15 mill. Its not like we buy anyone over 15 mill anyway, but all im saying is arsenal fans pay the most to see an ailing team and im sorry but they have every right to moan because they ARE paying. Im a neutral fan and even i can see wenger needed to plug some of the positions like RB and CM. It does not take a rocket scientist to see where arsenal are lacking, and wenger’s just makes it worse by insulting the fan’s intelligence. So faith will come when the fans see change.

Biggest load of bolloxs I’ve read in ages , wenger was a good manager I reapeat was ,the only thing he has done in the last 7 years is make money for himself and the board ,our squad is worse this year than it was last and last year we only just scrapped through enough of this belief in wenger ,and get him out now wenger out you are turning us in to a laughing stock

Seriously???…I mean it breaks my heart wen I hear most gunners…I’m pretty sure dis is wat u guyz said 5yearz ago(“I belive arsenal will win somtin dis year blah blah blah) and trust me dats wat u will continue sayin for more years to come…we finished 3rd last season(19points behind 1st and 2nd place) and we had RVP(one of d best strickers in d world) and Song(one of d best DMF in d world) in d team and ur beloved Wenger sold dem and brought in who and who?? I’m very sure dat is wat a very ambitious manager wuld do, a manager who plans to compete wit d top four clubs and win somtin…who are we kidding, Wenger does not care if we win titles, he and d freakin board are more interested in fillin their pockets…a gud manager who wants to win tinz will buy a somtin similar to d quality he had or even beta but wat does ur wenger do?? Faith u call it….we have been keeping d faith for 7 years now so don’t tell me about faith. Wat do we have to show for our years of faith?-Nothing….but a trophyless cabinet and mass exodus of our star players every season. This is just mediocrity speaking and I won’t be blinded to believe dat sometin good(trophy) cud come out of ds crop of players bcos Wenger is a ‘god’ right? If d players(including 4 of his captains)who are up close and personal wit Arsene more dan any of us on here lost faith in his work/project and decided to leave year after year…don’t u think ders a problem with ur beloved wenger. These so called “GOONERS” drive me nuts. We needed to spend on a RB and DM for what? The squad this year is much deeper than last. We have way more options available is every position compared to past years. Funny thing is I remember last year when people thought signing Ox for 15 mill was a waste of money. Just because a player is worth 20 or 30 mill does not make make him a good signing. I’m actually watching a former 30 mill transfer playing right now for Fulham. lol
The problem is Wenger has spoiled us with his success.

So what would you rather arsenal did ? Go buy loads of players demanding crazy wages with a few trophies but end up in the same mess as glasgow rangers ? People like yourself deemanding players be sold after a few bad games is what stops player returning to their best ! Arshavin is a great player look at his euro’s with russia but when he makes a bad pass or losses the ball with arsenal he gets a chorus of boo’s no wonder he lost his confidence ! Stop being negative and look at the positives we are in a great finacial position we havve got world class players and a very good manager give it time ! It could be a lot worse(liverpool)

You have to be shown something to give you faith… Arsene has done an ok job over the years, but losing finals was soon replaced with getting to finals and challenging for the title was replaced with challenging for the top 4 to the point where now it is competing in this market and staying competitive is the trophy.
It is excuse after excuse, double talk, secrets, lies … Wenger cannot tell the difference between supporters and enemies. The man has covered for the board so often that the fans are rightfully turning against him and the board… because he is indecipherable from the board!
No one wants Wenger to spend 20 million on a player, but a 2 more decent players would have left us with a strong squad. Now we have chamakh as our number 2 striker, squilachi is still here due to our complete failure of a system where by we pay fringe players the same amount as we pay our best players.
We have to sell to buy and lose 2-3 of our best players every year, the season ticket prices go up and up, yet in the face of any criticism wenger turns on the fans by brining up either what he has done in the past or by slating clubs for spending money! And it is always judge me in may, yet come may he completely disregards his statement, much like he does every transfer window when he assures us we will buy players.
