James: A few worrying questions for Arsenal fans….
Worrying times for Arsenal fans ? by James H
As you all know Arsenal have not won a trophy for 7 years and the fans are starting to get impatient, every year top players seem to leave the club I could name all the players but I would be here for a while so will only name a few: Fabregas, Nasri, song, and rvp. They are just the recent ones and many names have left before.
Ivan Gazidis claims that they need to sell top players to pay off the stadium debt ok so he has a point you might say but when you charge the highest ticket prices in English football you start to think why, why would fans have to watch their team slip into a dark abyss while paying over the odds to do so? Ivan said it was because of a rise in VAT but that had only risen 2.75% give or take however ticket sales had risen by 6.9% explain that one MR Gazidis?
Another point is the fact that players like Bendtner or Squillaci sitting on the bench earning around 50,000 pounds a week the same as Alex song had and he was a starter. A bit harsh on Alex – and can see why he left.
Also the fact that Arsenal reported a 50 million profit last year – 20 million on the annual stadium debt repayments so what happened to the other 30 million? As with the sales of rvp and Alex song they alone pay for the three new arrivals…
Another interesting fact is how a man who owns 29% of the club does not have a seat on the board is it because the board don’t want usmanov finding out they are lining their pockets ? A lot of questions need to be answered and its very worrying for the clubs loyal fans….

Have Faith some say….we have been keeping d faith for 7 years now so don’t tell me about faith. Wat do we have to show for our years of faith?-Nothing….but a trophyless cabinet and mass exodus of our star players every season. This is just mediocrity speaking and I won’t be blinded to believe dat sometin good(trophy) cud come out of ds crop of players bcos Wenger is a ‘god’ right? If d players(including 4 of his captains)who are up close and personal wit Arsene more dan any of us on here lost faith in his work/project and decided to leave year after year…don’t u think ders a problem with ur beloved wenger. The fact is ds young boiz are good but they too will leave @ der prime including wilshere bcos d club and portrays a lack of ambition….do u think cazorla isn’t disappointed, why do u think he joined Arsenal? Very soon players won’t bother comin here again @ least we lost sahin 2 liverpool, its just d beginning!

Spot on James but these questions are just ignored.
Only us disloyal fans have the cheek to ask them.
It’s also worth mentioning that most of this board were not involved in our successes or getting us to the Emirates. They could’nt care less.
Wenger’s first 8 years in charge never saw him finish outside the top 2. Fergie hated him and us because they feared us.
That rivalry is now history to such an extent that We ship 8 goal at Old Trafford last season and sell our best player and captain to them a year later.
That for me is waving the white flag.
We are now scrapping for 4th place with teams like Newcastle who were only just promoted 5 minutes ago.
The moment Wenger started describing the top 4 as more important than winning trophies he should have been hammered. But No, It became gospel to some Gooners and the slide began.
They wont admit it but they will call us names.
When the Wenger supporters defend this policy they always point to clubs like Rangers, Leeds, and more recently Malaga, as if there is nothing else in between.
But when other clubs go about there business in a different way and win, They are ruining the game.
Some of us are morphing into Wenger. He has a habit of accusing teams of anti football when we loose.
Too much buck passing people…..

How can we be expected to have faith in a manager and a board who are clearly not doing all they can with the resources that are available. They are far more interested in lining their own pockets than building a winning team and yet they expect the fans to tolerate the highest ticket prices in the land and the lowest net spend of any club in the transfer market. All I ask from the owners is that they love the club as much as the fans do and do all they can to make the team competitive. That used to be how it was under Gazidis and Dein but since Kronke took over its all about asset stripping the team while all the profits disappear down a black hole. Finally to add insult to injury they wrap it all up in a tissue of lies and bullshit and expect us to swallow it because not to do so would be disloyal. Well to quote a great film ‘when the milk turns sour I aint the kind of pussy whose going to drink it’ and neither should the rest of you.
